Job Summary:
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the dealership’s overall sales performance, ensuring sales targets are met and marketing strategies are executed effectively. This role requires strong leadership, advanced marketing expertise, and solid management skills to drive revenue growth, develop high-performing sales teams, and uphold Toyota’s standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Set clear performance goals, monitor results, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure consistent application of Toyota sales policies, procedures, and standards.
- Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase market share and brand presence.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with dealership objectives.
- Management & Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily sales operations, including forecasting, reporting, and performance evaluation.
- Manage sales budgets, incentives, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, marketing, and after-sales departments.
- Customer Relationship & Business Development:
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and business partners.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met across all sales activities.
- Address customer concerns and escalations professionally to maintain trust and loyalty.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management review.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance sales productivity and team effectiveness.
- Promote a results-driven, ethical, and professional sales culture within the dealership.
